Training camp with Funa Tonaki
Illawarra International & UTS Judo enjoyed hosting a 3 day training camp headlined by multiple World Champion & Olympic Silver medalist Funa Tonaki, Munguntuya Tumur-Ochir, Yuki Uemura, Moe Sakio & Mizouh at our dojo May 19-21, 2023.
IJF referee Lubo Petr also attended to provide a rules update.
As a club we always enjoy hosting training camps. Events like these highlight the very best of what judo is about, people coming together to share knowledge and learn from each other.
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the training camp it was fantastic to witness the progression of all athletes over the weekend.
